Recycling Mardi Gras Beads

(KTVI) – Steve Mueller, the Mardi Gras Parade chairman, stopped by to tell Tim about the new effort to recycle used Mardi Gras beads. Recycled whole strands of beads will be cleaned and resold next year. A similar program has been running in New Orleans for several years.
