ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- Mayor Francis Slay has done something no other mayor has done in St. Louis in the city's 249 year history. He's well on his way to securing a 4th term in office.
The numbers from Tuesday’s democratic primary show Slay easily won the city's south side and central corridor. His challenger, Alderman Lewis Reed, won most of the north side.
The mayor faces only token opposition in the April general election.
So what does Slay plan to do entering his 13th year in office? The mayor says he'll focus on attracting more immigrants to live and work in St. Louis.
