Woman Charged In Christmas Eve Murder Case

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Murder charges have been filed against a woman police say stabbed a man to death on Christmas Eve.

Authorities say Danielle C. Mack-Jones, 27, of the 9600 block of Ventura in St. Louis, stabbed Freeman Whitfield, 39, to death in his apartment on December 24, 2012.

Police say Jones lived in the same apartment complex and confessed to the stabbing. She is charged with Second Degree Murder, Armed Criminal Action and Stealing.

Jones is being held on a $250,000 cash only bond.
