Shots Fired At Car in North St. Louis

NORTH ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-Gunshots rang out in the 3900 block of Labadie late Friday night.  According to police, a 30 year old man and 25 year old woman were sitting in a parked vehicle when a man approached from the rear on the driver’s side and ordered the man to get out of the vehicle.  The man told police he raised his arm to shield his face and pushed the accelerator to the floor.

As the car sped away, the suspect fired two gun shots. One gunshot struck the driver’s side door and the other shattered the left rear door window.  The driver suffered a gunshot wound to the forearm.  He drove to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.  The woman was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion and 5’7″ – 5’8″ tall. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie.  The investigation is ongoing.
