(KTVI) – It’s spring and that means prom for many teens.  Debbie Rudawsky, co-owner of Best Transportation, stopped by to tell Tim and Margie how to keep your kids safe if you rent them a limo.

Here are some of the rules from Best Transportation:

1. No alcohol allowed on board at anytime.  They will end the trip if drinking is suspected, they take safety very seriously.

2. Adult chaperone is no longer mandatory on their trips, but parents can call anytime and talk to dispatch to check in on their trip.  They don't call directly to the driver anymore because they don't want the driver talking on the phone/distracted.  Dispatch can communicate with the driver hands-free through a silent tablet technological device.  Best uses the latest GPS technology in all their vehicles.

3. Chauffeured transportation is a great way to show a group of soon to be adults how to be responsible and plan in advance.
