Cardinals starting pitcher Jaime Garcia pitched seven shutout innings, but his bullpen let him down allowing four runs in three innings as the Brewers came back to beat the Cardinals 4-3 in 10 innings at Busch Stadium on Sunday.

The Cardinals had built a 3-0 lead on hits by Matt Holliday - RBI single, Yadier Molina - RBI double, and Matt Adams a solo home run, his third of the young season.

Trevor Rosenthal allowed a two run homer to the Brewers Ryan Braun to cut the Cards lead to 3-2. Mitchell Boggs blew the save in the ninth inning when Yunisky Betancourt doubled in the tieing run. Fernando Salas allowed a 10th inning home run to Jonathan Lucroy to give the Brewers the 4-3 win.

The Cardinals won four of six games on this home stand. They now head on the road for their next ten games, traveling to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
