(KTVI)- The Valley Park Safety Fair is back. The event, which is the annual fund-raiser for the Casey Williamson Memorial Scholarship, teaches safety in the home, fire and bicycle safety, and even includes lunch.

The event is Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Valley Park School on Main Street in Valley Park, MO from 9:30 to 1:00 p.m. The event is free but donations to the scholarship fund are appreciated.

Casey Williamson was a kindergarten student at Valley Park Elementary. During the summer of 2002, the then six-year old was abducted and her body found just a mile from her home.  Over the years, $4,500 in scholarships has been awarded to deserving Valley Park graduates. Next year, when Casey’s classmates graduate high school, the goal is to award all of them a $500 scholarship.
