Jackman’s Goal Lifts Blues to 2-0 Series Lead over Kings

(KTVI) – Barret Jackman broke a 1-1 tie with his first career playoff goal with 51 seconds left in Game Two gave the Blues a 2-1 win and 2-0 series lead on the Kings on Thursday night at Scottrade Center.

The Blues had tied the game earlier in the third period on Patrik Berglund’s deflection goal. Los Angeles had held a 1-0 lead throughout most of the game. The Kings lone goal came in the first period on Dustin Brown’s power play goal with a 5 on 3 man advantage.

Brian Elliott stopped 28 of 29 Kings shots to get the win in goal. The Series now shifts to Los Angeles for Games three and four on Saturday and Monday in Southern California.
