SAN DIEGO, CA – The man who voiced Charlie Brown in several Peanuts cartoons has been sentenced to at least eight months in rehab. This is Peter Robbins’ punishment for threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and the doctor who performed her breast enhancement surgery. Robbins also pleaded guilty to stalking the doctor.

He wanted a refund for his ex-girlfriend’s surgery because the two of them had gotten into a fight. During sentencing Wednesday, the judge used one of Charlie Brown’s famous lines.

Judge, “If you adhere to those terms, you won’t go to prison. Don’t be a blockhead.”

Robbins, “I realize that this is just the first step toward becoming the fun-loving, respectful person I was and hope to become again.”

In addition to rehab, Robbins also has to serve five years probation.
