(KTVI) - Mary Kay Schmeider found a swarm of honey bees in a front yard bush and John Pertzborn turned to a beekeeper in the St. Louis area.
Philip Hall of Fairview Heights responded. He says bees are swarming right now as hives get too large and the old queen bee flies off to find a new hive.
Hall arrived with a portable hive and coaxed them all inside and took off. He uses them to produce honey.
Remember not to kill honey bees when swarming.
