ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- A shopping experience like no other in the city of St. Louis, perhaps even the state of Missouri, is open downtown.

The Collective MX is an innovative retail concept that allows you to do one stop shopping in a store with inventory that comes from local boutiques, designers and retailers.

It's located in the Mercantile Exchange building, one of the hottest blocks in downtown St. Louis known as the MX District.

The Collective MX brings some of the best of St. Louis retail together in a chic and hip industrial space on a Washington Avenue block.

The district features trendy restaurants, a state of the art movie theater, and a shopping experience like no other.

Collective MX features men and woman's apparel, furniture, beauty products, jewelry, artwork and even food...

It's curated by fashion expert Nicole Benoist who uses her years of experience in the industry in Los Angeles to hand select and carefully edit the inventory, offering customers the best of the best.

Whether it's Wai Ming, who is an incredible designer, or Ivy Hill a great store in Central West End and Ladue, but we have mini shop downtown.  It is White Rabbit which is a store in Maplewood.

And with a the convention center and the future home of the National Blues Museum  directly across the street, Collective MX is only adding to what many are calling the urban buzz on a once quiet stretch of Washington Avenue.

Right now the Collective MX has close to 50 vendors and is constantly adding new ones.
