(KTVI) - Flood waters are still causing big time problems in West Alton.  And more trouble could be on the way.

On Highway 67, flood waters have taken over a field and covered the southbound lanes of the highway.  To help keep traffic moving in both directions, MoDOT shifted the lane set up on Northbound 67.

After last night's rush hour, crews put up markers dividing  the two northbound lanes.  Highway Patrol troopers helped direct traffic Wednesday morning.
