(KTVI)- More and more people are opting to to go “green”, or choose products that are better for the environment. That includes people preparing for funerals. Traditional funeral procedures are increasingly considered not environmentally sound.
Earen Hummel of Bellefontaine Cemetery joined to explain some of the options of a green burial, including shrouds and wicker caskets, both considered green alternatives to standard coffins.
