Two Killed, Two Injured In Washington County Crash

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO (KTVI)-Two people were killed and two others were injured after a wreck on Highway U outside of Bismarck, MO early Sunday.  According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an Oldsmobile with four people inside was traveling north on Highway U when it struck two unoccupied vehicles just after midnight. The two trucks were stopped in the roadway due to debris, one in the northbound and one in the southbound lane.

Brandon Stark, 16, and Steve Stark, 40, both of Irondale, were pronounced dead at the scene.  They were passengers in the car.  Driver, Ronald French, 32, of Irondale, and another passenger, Tina Lindsey, 34, of Desloge, suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized.  Lindsey had to be airlifted to a St. Louis area hospital.

Only 16 year old Stark was wearing a seat belt.

No one else was injured in the crash.
