(KTVI) - You've heard the term, "If you've got lemons, make lemonade." Well, in St. Charles, if you've got trees, you make mulch.

Severe Spring storms brought down a lot of trees. They turned it into mulch and now you can have it for free.

Colene McEntee, Public Affairs Coordinator for St. Charles County tells us how residents can get this mulch.

Residents have until Wednesday, June 26 to put their tree debris on the curb for pick up.

Mulch pick up is available everyday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  at the Family Arena, and two St. Charles County Highway Departments: 3890 Greens Bottom Road, & at 7101 Highway 94 in St. Charles.

For questions, please call the St. Charles County Highway Department at (636) 949-7305.
