PrideFest Marches in downtown St. Louis for the First Time

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) - For the first time, the pride parade rolled thru the streets of downtown St. Louis.  Thousands of people lined market street to see the parade put on by the local gay community.

In addition to the fun enjoyed by participants and on-lookers, the PrideFest parade serves as a way to showcase the creative talents of hundreds of businesses, non-profit organizations and community groups.

The change in location was a hit with many parade goers.

In addition to the parade, the day also includes two large stages featuring lots of music and entertainment.
