The Cardinals overcame 3-0 and 4-2 deficits and scored their first walk off win of the season in beating the Miami Marlins 5-4 on Saturday afternoon at Busch Stadium. Shane Robinson's pinch hit single to right in the bottom of the 9th inning sent Jon Jay to third and when Marlins 1st baseman Logan Morrison fumbled the relay throw, Jay raced home with the walk off win, 5-4 Cardinals. The Redbirds were the last team to earn a walk off win this season. Matt Adams tied the game at 4-4 with a two run pinch hit home run in the 7th inning.

The Cardinals played the game without their catcher Yadier Molina. He was having his right knee looked at by team officials after injuring it during Friday night's game. Tony Cruz filled in for Molina on Saturday and went 1 for 4 with a run scored. Results of Molina's exam on his knee should be known before Sunday's game.
