Former St. Louis wrestling star accused of stabbing girlfriend to death

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- A former wrestling star in the St. Louis area was charged with murder after his girlfriend was found stabbed to death.

Brian McGhee's girlfriend, Bianca McGaughy was found dead in a Tampa, Florida apartment Wednesday.

Photo(1)McGhee was a wrestling champion in the St. Louis area in 2010.

His ring name was "The Future" Donovan Ruddick.

McGaughey is also from the St. Louis area.

Friends told FOX 2 McGhee posted a picture of McGaughy's stab wounds on Facebook.

"I saw the image and the post he made," Sam Richardson said. "According to Facebook he admitted that he did it."

McGhee was arrested after leading authorities on a high speed chase Wednesday.

"It's just shocking," Richardson said.

McGhee earned a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2010.

"We were proud of him and happy to send him on his way to Florida for the WWE," St. Louis area ring announcer Ben Simon said.

However, Simon said shortly after moving to Florida McGhee hurt his leg and his contract was terminated.

"I think that impacted him emotionally," Simon said.

Simon told FOX 2 that McGhee the murder was a shock.

"In the ring the was vicious, but outside the ring he was quiet," Simon said. "Not expected."
