Man rescued from apartment building fire

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis firefighters rescued a man from a burning apartment building Monday. The man was trapped in a second flood unit in the building on N. Kingshighway at Lexington in north St. Louis. Crews raised a ladder to a window of the apartment and had to cut away bars before they could pull the man to safety.

The man was taken to an area hospital for observation. No one else was injured.
