Man shoots and kills friend during “trust” game

ARNOLD, MO (KTVI) – James Wildharber, 26 is being charged with involuntary manslaughter after shooting his friend in the chest on Monday night. His friend was later pronounced dead.

Wildharber, the victim and two others were drinking at the Richardson Apartments in Arnold on Monday night. According to Keith Wildharber he took out a 9mm gun from his wrist band. He then removed the magazine and ejected the live ammunition from the chamber. He re-inserted the magazine in the gun and pointed it at the victim. He then asked if the victim trusted him.

He pulled the trigger and struck the victim in the chest. The victim was pronounced dead at 12:27am on Tuesday at at St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

Keith James Wildharber is being held on $10,000 bond. He is currently being held at the Jefferson Co. Jail.
