Dana’s Dream Poker Run raises money to fight Leukemia

DESOTO, MO (KTVI) – 145 area motorcyclists fired up their bikes to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event was Dana’s Dream Poker Run on Saturday, July 27. It’s held in memory of Dana Haverstick who died of leukemia at age 25. Her parents, Dave and Diana organize the event.

The ride covered about 100 miles, starting and ending in DeSoto, Missouri at AMVETS Post 48. The event has taken in more than $12,000 so far with donations still coming in.
