Mars rover captures two moons passing
Here’s something you’ve probably never seen before! The two moons of Mars, passing each other in the Martian sky. These images come from NASA’s Curiosity rover on the red planet.
The larger moon, Phobos, is seen moving in front of the smaller moon, Deimos. Astronomers say the images will help researchers make more precise measurements of the two moon’s orbits.
