ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Jeremiah Johnson and the Sliders are just one of the amazing bands taking part in the Big Muddy Blues Festival.
Every Labor Day weekend, St. Louis’ historic Laclede’s Landing welcomes more 60,000 people from around the country for this musical festival. This outdoor event attracts an eclectic audience celebrating the indigenous art from known as 'the Blues.'
Now in its 18th year, the region’s largest Blues music event features more than 18 hours of music with 30+ bands on three stages throughout the cobblestone streets of Laclede’s Landing while boasting the Big Muddy itself as the iconic river backdrop for the weekend.
Regional and local bands are showcased on two satellite stages, while the main stage features national headliners, Grammy award-winners and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers.
