TROY, Mo. (KTVI) – Lincoln County officials say that they will now be enforcing a Missouri Law that allows police to seize uninsured vehicles. Police say that this is not a new law. They just plan on greater enforcement.

Sheriff John Cottle’s new zero tolerance policy is aimed at motorists driving with suspended or revoked license and motorists who drive without insurance. Vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense. Drivers found without a licence or insurance will be taken to a safe location to find a ride to their destination.
