Man arrested after making threatening Facebook comments
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI)– A St. Louis County man who threatened violence at his 10-year high school reunion has been arrested. The Saturday event was canceled because of the threats.
Andrew Middleton, 28, a Lindbergh High School graduate, was charged Friday with making a terroristic threat. He is accused of posting several threatening status updates on his personal Facebook page and a page created for the reunion.
Middleton did allow police to search his apartment where loaded firearms and ammunition were found. He told police that he was drunk when he posted the comments and did not really mean to hurt anyone.
Bail has been set at $25,000.
