Police find meth lab in Carlinville apartment

CARLINVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Police say they found a meth lab in a Carlinville apartment.

Officers did a “knock and talk” on Friday at an apartment on the 500 block of West 1st South Street. They found Denzil Ridenour, 44, and an active methamphetamine lab at the location.

Ridenour has been charged with unlawful participation in methamphetamine manufacturing and unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material. His bond is set at $75,000. Ridenour currently being held in the Macoupin County Jail.
