Chesterfield Police make arrest in property thefts

CHESTERFIELD, MO. (KTVI) – The Chesterfield Police Department has arrested two suspects for property theft. Arrested were Joshua McPherson, 23, of Kirkwood and Christopher Cottrell, 19, of Ballwin.

Both were arrested for stealing over $500 and possession of stolen property.

The arrests were made in response to a number of vehicle break-ins in the Baxter and Clarkson area.

Some of the property seized has been returned to victims.

Charges are pending warrants being issued by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
