Vehicle leaves road killing 2
FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO. (KTVI) – The Missouri State Highways Patrol is reporting the death of two Franklin County residents on Route AH Saturday afternoon. Officials say a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 53-year-old James V. Strube was headed westbound on Route AH about a mile and a half from I-44, when he crossed the center line.
Strube overcorrected his steering went off the road, striking a rock and a tree.
The force of the impact killed James Strube and 33-year-old Holly M. Strube; two other family members in the car, both minors, were transported to a hospital in ST. Louis.
