Madison County to host “Lock Your Meds” Oct. 26th

EDWARDSVILLE, IL. (KTVI) – Madison County officials are once again partaking in the national campaign to “Lock Your Meds”, on October 26th.  The goal of the campaign is to give the public the opportunity to dispose of unneeded medication from their homes.

Residents in Madison County will be able to drop off unwanted medication at the Madison County Administration Building on 157 North Main Street in Edwardsville, Il. from 10 am to 2 pm.

The service is free and anonymous.

Last year’s campaign netted over 742,000 pounds of prescription drugs in the U.S. and 75 pounds in Madison County.
