Salvation Army accepting applications for Toy Town

ST. LOUIS, (KTVI) – The Salvation Army has started the process of taking application for its annual Toy Town.  The Toy Town program ensures that underprivileged children have Christmas presents under their holiday tree and their families to have a Christmas dinner with all of the trimmings.

To qualify for the program, a household must have at least one child under the age of 17-year-old or no children and meet the federal poverty guideline and/or at least 150% of the guideline.

Also, he Salvation Army is also accepting applications for its Adopt-A-Family program, which matches impoverished families with individual or group sponsors to provide tangible needs for Christmas.
