Blues sign St. Charles Chill hockey for prospect development

ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) – A hockey club in St. Charles now has an affiliation with the St. Louis Blues.  The  Central Hockey League team will now be a source for prospect development for the Blues.  This season the Blues can assign current players or prospects to the Chill.  Players on the Chill roster can be called up to play for the Blues or the Chicago Wolves.

The Chill already have close ties with the Blues.  Former St. Louis Blues player Jamie Rivers is the team’s first head coach.

The team was formerly the Loredo Bucks.  The team recently changed ownership, names and moved to St. Charles.

The St. Charles Chill will begin their inaugural season in the Central Hockey League this Saturday, October 19th at the Family Arena.
