SSM Healthcare still offering free flu shots

ST. LOUIS, (KTVI) – SSSM Healthcare is still offering free flu shots for needing flu shot for the 2013-2014 flu season.  You can get your free flu shot Saturday, October 26th or on Saturday, November 2nd at one of the following locations:

Saturday, Oct. 26 2013
SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center – Ambulatory Care Clinics
1465 South Grand Blvd.
St. Louis, MO 63104
8 a.m. – noon
Ages three and above only

Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013
SSM DePaul Health Center – May Center
12303 DePaul Drive
Bridgeton, MO 63044
8 a.m. – noon
Ages nine and above only

If you plan on attending one of these sessions, you’re asked to call 1-866-SSM-DOCS (776-3627) or register online at http://www.ssmhealth.com/flu to schedule an appointment during the clinic times. Walk-ins the day of are welcome, but vaccine availability is not guaranteed. You should wear appropriate clothing for easy access to their upper arms.

There is a limited supply of preservative-free vaccines for pregnant women only.

For people who can’t make one of the free clinics, SSM Urgent Care is offering vaccinations for anyone ages nine and older. Flu vaccines are $25 each and are available without an appointment between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily.
