No beer at Catholic youth events for parents

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – There may soon be a tear in your beer after you here this news, parents. The St. Louis Archdiocese is putting an end to alcohol sales at youth-related events.

The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports that means you won’t be able to bring alcohol to kids’ baseball, soccer, and other athletic games.   Beer will not be sold at concession stands.

There is no word on why the Archdiocese is rolling out the new rule. The policy goes into effect on Friday.
