Bishop and Lightning Knock off Blues 4-2

St. Louis native Ben Bishop stopped 28 Blues shots as the Tampa Bay Lightning knocked off the Blues 4-2 on Saturday night in Tampa, Florida. Alex Pietrangelo’s fourth goal in four games opened the scoring, but Tampa responded with two goals of their own on Jaroslav Halak. Jaden Schwartz’s second period goal tied the game at 2-2. But the Lightning scored two in the third period to win it. The game winner came from Brett Connolly at 8:37 of the final period.

The loss is just the second in regulation time for the Blues. Their season record now stands at 8-2-2. The Note travels to Montreal to play the Canadiens on Tuesday, November 5th.
