DELLWOOD, MO (KTVI) – A triple shooting outside the Dellwood Market on Chambers Road is being investigated by the St. Louis County Police Department.

The victims were shot Saturday around 10:00pm.  A police spokesman said the victims were expected to survive.  One victim is a 17-year-old female.  The other two are males.  They are 19 and 21 years old.

One shopper told FOX 2 News the shooting was retaliation over something petty.  He did not elaborate.

Other shoppers went in and out of the Market on Sunday hoping the shooter or shooters will be held responsible.

“It surprised me,” said Tony Tiggens.  He shops at the market and hopes the community will find ways to provide more opportunity to youth.  He feels that’s the best way to try and stop violence involving young people.

Another shopper, Maurice Davis, believes too many men are either abandoning their sons or setting a poor example of how to be an adult, “We’ve got to stand up as men and help the youth.”

As of Sunday night, a St. Louis County Police spokesman said there was nothing new to report on the investigation.
