Beltran speaks to grade school about chasing dreams

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Cardinals right-fielder Carlos Beltran headed back to the classroom on Monday. He spoke to the entire student body at Chesterfield Elementary school.

For the past year, Beltran has been involved with helping students develop leadership skills in the 'Chasing Their Dream' program. Before he left the school Beltran was presented with a baseball and a book and letters written by students thanking the free agent for helping them.

"Do the best you can do, because at the end of the day, ya know, this is what it's all about, being able to come in, being able to come to school, get together, and hopefully you guys can all be successful later on in your careers.  So, thank you very muchand God bless you all." said Carlos Beltran.

When asked if he would like to come back to the Cardinals Beltran said, yes. But, he knows it's a business decision.
