(KTVI) – Employees at Women’s Health Partners, a division of Signature Medical Group, put together a Pink Glove Dance, to raise awareness of breast cancer and raise money for the American Cancer Society, which will help local breast cancer patients and survivors.
April Simpson talked with Megan Wieser who says they were inspired by their patients, friends and family and wanted to celebrate those who have survived and support those fighting the battle.
The video is part of a competition and you can cast your vote. Vote through November 8 to raise awareness for breast cancer and raise money for the American Cancer Society.
1st place is $25,000, 2nd place is $10,000 and 3rd place is $5,000
Competition is tough, with nearly 200 participating, so they really need your vote.
Their inspiration for the video was Deb Johns, a nurse that provided comfort and was a great co-worker. Deb at the time of filming was also battling breast cancer.
Asfilming progressed, Deb’s health declined. She lost her battle with breast cancer only a few weeks before the contest’s deadline. Deb never got to see the final product, but they were honored to submit this video in her memory.
