Suspects beat man during home invasion

GODFREY, IL. (KTVI) – Friday, November 15th, 3 suspects are alleged to have committed a home invasion in the 5200 block of Pine Ridge Drive in Godfrey, Illinois. The 3 suspects enter the home and demanded the occupants of the home, a couple and their two children to hand over money they said was stolen from a person named Josh.

All 3 suspects are believed to be African-American, but were wearing dark clothing, hooded jackets, and mask over their faces.

One of the suspects held a handgun on the victims, who told the suspects they had no idea about the stolen money the suspects were referring too.

Frustrated, the suspects kicked and beat the adult male occupant, threatening to shoot the other victims.

Two of the suspects finally left the home, taking a purse and laptop. The third suspect was forced out by the adult male occupant.

The injured adult treated for his injuries on the scene, after Madison County Sheriffs Deputies arrived on the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
