Dave Murray’s latest stl forecast and weather disco…For Tuesday…December 3, 2013

*** Spring-like on Tuesday…into the 60’s for the afternoon…the record high 76 from 1970…then winter cold pours in Wednesday with snow and sleet for Thursday afternoon into Friday.***.

Tuesday:

Sunshine giving way to more clouds…windy and mild
Winds: South 10-25 m.p.h.
High: 65 degrees.

Tuesday night:

Lots of clouds and cool…not cold
Winds: South 5-15 m.p.h.
Low: 52 degrees.

Wednesday:

Mostly cloudy, windy with dropping temps…wrmest in the morning…then all down hill
Winds: South 10-25 to Northwest 10-25 m.p.h.
High: 55 degrees…40 by late day

Sleet and snow roll in Thursday afternoon and snow for Thursday night into Friday…Not snow all the time but periods of snow and sleet

THE WEATHER DISCO:

A rock and roll week of weather still on track…a classic stl swing this week…with spring-like weather going to hard core winter temps and weather…should be fun…snow bunny smiles…I see them out there. Flow swings from northwest to southwest and the southern storm track comes alive…but not before an arctic cold front roars into town…very mild tuesday…dropping temps on wednesday…so the cold…really cold digs in and then a wave rumbles in from the south…really several waves…so moisture we see thursday and friday will be snow and sleet going to all snow. Way to early for amounts especially with sleet in play…not convinced this is a big system but its our first system and should be fun to watch unfold…still like my first look ideas of a few inches possible in the time frame of Thursday afternoon to late Friday morning. Big cold with all this…very cold.
