ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The first wave of a winter storm  left behind 1/2"-3/4" of snow overnight.  It was just enough to cause some road troubles. Crews in Missouri and Illinois have been working since the snow moved in just after midnight. Interstates were mostly clear Sunday morning, but side streets and exit ramps were still covered.

A couple more rounds of light snow are likely through midday Sunday. Accumulations of up to 1" are possible. The light snow will transition to patchy freezing drizzle during the afternoon and evening. Untreated surfaces may develop a light coating of ice before the precipitation ends.
