Dave Murray's Forecast

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The weather will be quiet for the next two days. A rather impressive warm up from now until Friday. Sorry snow bunnies, the snow melt away.  More weather action for the end of the week, the focus on rain, but ice will be close by.

Watch for rain on Thursday night and running for much of Friday.  Rain is the main feature for late Friday night and Saturday. Some freezing rain may become a concern, especially north of the St. Louis area. Then Saturday night and into Sunday, freezing rain, sleet and snow will be around. There are questions on how much moisture will be left over as the storm races to the northeast. Yes, it is another southwest storm system that will battle with cold air. Questions about speed, placement of a cold front and how strong and deep the cold air will be; never boring and always fun forecasting.
