Man dies while removing snow

ALTON, ILLINOIS (KTVI)– A 66-year-old man died while removing snow Thursday morning in Alton, Illinois.

Police say Carl Walker was using a snow blower and developed shortness of breath and went inside where his wife called 9-1-1.

He was transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital. Doctors were able to diagnose Walker as having a heart attack.

Funeral arrangements remain pending at this time, but are under the direction of Gent Funeral Home of Alton, Illinois.

    lakisha jackson did not state in her article what happened to this poor man after he arrived at the hospital. This is not the first time she made mistakes in her articles. Maybe writing them is not the strongest suit. My prayers are with the family of this man.

    May he RIP! Why is this newsworthy? Maybe if there was an accident, it would be worth reporting. His death May or may not be due to exertion. Let this man RIP and find something worth reporting.

    Rest in Peace dear man. But this has NOTHING to do with the had weather – he had a heart attack. So, nobody has died of this weather YET.

    for the love of god …someone dies and your nit picking whether or not this is news …there is a subject a 66yo man and tells what happened to the man .. a heart attack .. I pray he didn’t suffer .. I had a heart attack..and lucky it was first one ..but after a day and a half ..the nerve of some peoples children
