(KTVI) – The St. Louis Archdiocese has lost an appeal in a priest sex abuse case.  A woman suing the Archdiocese wants the names of priests accused of sexual abuse over a 20-year period.

Her lawyer claims it will show the Archdiocese had a pattern of ignoring abuse allegations.  A lower court ordered the church to release the names. The Archdiocese appealed and lost.

They now plan to appeal to the Missouri Supreme Court.

Oh, what happened here? I guess they encountered one of the few honest judges! I guess he wasn’t on the take and didn’t want to accept a bribe from the archdiocese to find in their favor!

Well, they’re going to the MO Supreme Conservative Extremist Court, where their case is SURE to be found in their favor! Those MO Supreme Conservative Court judges were all hand-picked by other Republican conservatives and ALWAYS side with a) the wealthiest, or b) the most religious, and in this case, the defendant is BOTH. So the archdiocese should sail through this one and win, no problem. And the cover up continues. No matter, most OPEN MINDED people know what’s going on, it’s only the poor, misled sheep of the religious right who still believe their lies.

I am so glad that I have the intellect to be an atheist and not be a member of a vile cult like the Catholic Church that hinders sick pedophile catholic priests and others from criminal prosecution!!

Thankfully because of this very brave young girl’s determination to get justice and help expose the truth, the Archdiocese of St. Louis must release two decades worth of sexual abuse allegations against its priests. The harder the church officials try to keep these documents secret, the more they look very suspicious.

115 child sex abusers reported to the St Louis Archdiocese by 234 accusing victims between 1983 and 2003.?…
It is hard to comprehend how many precious innocent children have been harmed within this diocese. The victims are very brave for speaking up even before the real explosion of child sex abuse within the Catholic church came to light after 2002.
We can’t even begin to image how many kids have been so badly harmed only because they happened to believe and trust. And this number does not include how many more priests/employees have been accused of child abuse since 2003.

If anyone has knowledge or may have been harmed by anyone in this diocese, please get help and find the courage to come forward and contact police or at least speak to someone you can trust. Your silence only hurts, and by speaking up there is a chance for healing, exposing the truth, and therefore protecting others.
