Dr. Ian Smith: Super Shred Diet

(KTVI) – He’s at it again. Dr. Ian Smith is helping people all across the country shred hundred of pounds.

A year after his book, “Shred” rocketed to Number 1 on the New York Best Seller’s List, “Super Shred” is following in its footsteps.

Here’s the recipe he made on air:

The Blueberry Swizzle

Total Time: 5 mins

Serving Size: 3

Under 200 calories

2 cups of fresh or frozen blueberries

6 ounces of fat-free plain vanilla yogurt

½ cup of apple juice (not from concentrate)

1 medium ripe banana, peeled and sliced

2 teaspoons honey

Combine all ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth. Remember, this recipe makes multiple servings, so only drink one at this time.
