(STLMoms) – People Magazine has announced that it will no longer use unauthorized photos of celebrity kids.

The move came after celebrities like Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell blasted publications like People for using photos of their children taken by paparazzi or without permission.

In an Editor’s Letter posted on Tuesday, Jess Cagle, Editorial Director, said People has “no interest in running kids’ photos taken under duress.”  He goes on to say that there may be some rare exceptions based on the newsworthiness, but says they’ll still run sanctioned photos.
