Lindenwood student reports attempted sexual assault in campus bathroom

ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI)--  Police are investigating a report that a female student at Lindenwood University was the victim of an attempted sexual assault in a campus bathroom.

The student says it happened late Tuesday night in a bathroom in the lower level of the campus library.

The woman tells police the man jumped out at her from behind a bathroom stall and attempted to sexually assault her but she managed to escape.

Police say the victim was not physically hurt.

    I think that’s very honest of the Lindenwood student to voluntarily report that he attempted to assault someone in the campus bathroom! At least, that’s what the headline sounds like!

    But seriously, this kind of stuff is scary. But waiting four days to announce it? And don’t they have cameras all over the place to see who may have done this?

    Oh, that’s right – that intensive of investigation is reserved for the more serious stuff, like drug possession or any kind of political dissent.
