(KTVI) – An American Eagle flight from Chicago to Kansas City, Missouri was met by law enforcement officers Thursday night.

An airport spokesperson says something happened during the flight that was perceived as a threat.  The plane was taken to a remote area of the airport so authorities could search the aircraft.

The 63 passengers and four crew members on board were not hurt.  There is no word yet on what that threat was.

What was the threat? An oversized container of hand lotion? Maybe a pair of tweezers? Maybe a joint?

If it were a REAL threat involving guns or anything really dangerous, law enforcement would have been running the other way.
