ST. LOUIS, MO – Missouri Governor Jay Nixon stops to say hello to construction workers on their lunch break, while touring the Ballpark Village construction site across the street from Busch Stadium in St. Louis on March 14, 2014.

Ballpark Village is a mixed-use retail, entertainment, office and residential district being developed in partnership by the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cordish Companies, spanning seven city blocks on the 10-acre site just north of Busch Stadium, is scheduled to be open on Opening Day, April 7, 2014.
