(KTVI)- On Sunday, February 16th, 50 foster children from Angels’ Arms  enjoyed a private shopping experience at the Finish Line store at South County Center.  For many of these kids, it was an opportunity to pick out their favorite pair of new shoes for the very first time. Most foster children come in to care with only the clothes they are wearing, usually hand-me-downs. It was the first “New Kicks 4 Foster Kids” giveaway.

Angels’ Arms is a non-profit organization that provides loving homes and resources to foster families, placing an emphasis on keeping sibling groups together until a forever home is found. Currently there are ten Angels` Arms’ homes located throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area.
