Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…The Weekend…April 5-6, 2014:

***A large dome of high pressure in play all weekend long…Canadian high pressure…so we are a little cool to even cold…day and night…all weekend long. Some light rain comes into the picture Sunday night and Monday***

SATURDAY:

Partly sunny, cool and dry..light winds!
WINDS: Northwest 5-10 M.P.H.
HIGH: 55 degrees.

SATURDAY NIGHT:

Clear skies and cold for this time of year
WINDS: East 5-10 M.P.H.
LOW: 38 degrees

SUNDAY:

Partly sunny…still cool
WINDS: Southeast 5-10 M.P.H.
HIGH: 58 degrees

Some rain showers Sunday night and into Monday…should get the game in for opening day

THE WEATHER DISCO:

High pressure keeping us quiet but chilly to cold…the early spring flowers will be fine…most trees will be okay too…the coldest will be early Saturday morning…near 32 degrees. The next system comes out of the southwest and will be tracking a touch too far south and southeast but close enough to toss clouds and light rain are way for Sunday night and Monday…good thing it is not Janaury…some showers for the game on Monday…but at this stage thinking we get it in. Still chilly into Thursday morning…then we start a new warm up for Thursday and Friday…back into the 60’s
